SNHU's dedicated FNP page and licensure material include West Virginia among 17 states, while the main MSN admissions copy currently lists only 11 accepting states and omits West Virginia. Ask Admissions for a written decision using the student's residence and proposed clinical location. Do not begin FNP outreach until that answer is received. If confirmed, the student must follow the current domicile rule and complete practicum in the reported state of domicile.

SNHU's other nursing tracks remain available in West Virginia, subject to course and site review. AANP classifies West Virginia as reduced practice, meaning state requirements limit at least one NP practice element or require a regulated relationship.
