SNHU's dedicated FNP eligibility material includes South Carolina among 17 states, while the main MSN admissions copy currently lists only 11 accepting states and does not include South Carolina. Ask Admissions for a written decision based on the student's residence and planned clinical location. Do not contact FNP prospects until that conflict is resolved. If confirmed, the student must follow the current domicile rule and complete practicum in the reported state of domicile.

AANP categorizes South Carolina as restricted practice. State requirements restrict at least one element of NP practice and require regulated supervision, delegation, or team management.
