SNHU determines academic charges, course sequencing, enrollment options, and whether a delayed placement changes a student's completion date. The program requirement matters. SNHU's FNP pathway publishes 750 supervised clinical hours and requires an in-person immersion in New Hampshire. Each of the four non-NP MSN specializations requires a 135-hour practicum. RN-to-BSN field experience planning is different, and there is no single published fixed hour total to apply to every SNHU RN-to-BSN student.

Then consider time. A revised work schedule, reduced shifts, unpaid leave, additional commute, or delayed job transition can matter even when it is not a school charge. SNHU provides the current immersion instructions, while your clinical location determines recurring travel for the approved experience.
