A practical plan when your SNHU clinical hours fall behind

The headline clinical requirement for the SNHU Family Nurse Practitioner pathway is 750 hours. Those hours are completed through approved in-person clinical experiences, and the program also includes a required in-person immersion in New Hampshire. The immersion and clinical placement are separate planning items, so scheduling one does not solve the other.

SNHU's four non-NP MSN specializations have a 135-hour practicum requirement. The RN-to-BSN field experience is structured differently, and SNHU does not publish one fixed hour total that should be applied to every student. State that you are an SNHU student, identify the clinical window and specialty, describe the expected commitment accurately, and ask who coordinates student experiences.
